Shared Mobility Feasibility Study

The City of Hayward shared mobility feasibility study will investigate regional Micro-Mobility Policies to provide City of Hayward staff with the tools to develop Micro-Mobility Programs.

The development of a Micro-Mobility Program will help provide alternative transportation options to all community members and advance mode-shift goals towards more active transportation modes. The project will help improve the transportation system for all community members, especially those that are transit dependent and residing in low-income areas, by creating safer streets and improving access to housing and regional transit hubs. Consistent with City policy, the feasibility analysis will be through a racial equity lens to ensure equitable outcomes.
