City of Hayward General Municipal Election - November 3, 2020

On May 8, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-64-20, which orders November 3, 2020, General Election to be conducted as an all-mail ballot election. Accordingly, all registered voters in Hayward will receive a vote-by-mail ballot in the mail before the election. In-person locations will still be available on Election Day. 
 

At the June 23, 2020 City Council Meeting, Resolutions were adopted Calling the Election and Setting Regulations Pertaining to Candidate Statements.

At the July 14, 2020 City Council Meeting, Resolutions were adopted placing Ballot Measures to Increase the City's Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) and Amend the City Charter.

Ballot Measure OO  - Charter Amendment
