The Hayward City Council will hold a special work session on Tuesday to receive a staff presentation, invite public input and provide direction on strategies for reducing traffic-related injuries in Hayward and making City streets safer for all users. The work session, which will take place during a regular City Council meeting starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, was scheduled in response to three pedestrian fatalities that took place on Hayward streets within a 10-day period last month.
