The Hayward Police Department has redrawn its patrol districts to coincide with Hayward’s new City Council election districts and is holding a first round of new-patrol district-level community meetings starting late next month with District 2.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 26, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the Hayward Police North Resource Center at 22701 Main Street. It will include a police crime and safety update and an opportunity for discussion of area-specific concerns and issues.
