New income-restricted homes priced exclusively for sale to low- to moderate-income buyers at the new residential development called SoHay Line near South Hayward BART are still available for purchase.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom, 429-square-foot condominiums are among the first 28 below-market-rate “affordable” units built and offered for sale as part of the project by Taylor Morrison, formerly William Lyon Homes.  In all, the project, at 29362 Mission Blvd., calls for 472 for-sale and rental homes, and 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space connected by trails and paseos across 25 acres.

To qualify, buyers must have annual income at or less than 120 percent of the Area Median Income adjusted for household size.  The units, produced and being offered for sale in accordance with the City’s inclusionary housing ordinance, are priced at $371,148.
