We are excited to announce the first cohort of Hayward Amplified grant recipients events. These businesses will be hosting events, activations, and customer experiences designed to bring people together, increase foot traffic, and create energy throughout Hayward's commercial corridors.

Hayward Amplified Sponsored Events: 

We are excited to showcase the first cohort of Hayward Amplified grant recipients. Through this program, local businesses are creating unique events, experiences, and activations that bring people together, support small businesses, and add energy to commercial corridors throughout Hayward.

From live music and family-friendly festivals to grand openings, art walks, and cultural celebrations, these events invite residents and visitors alike to explore Hayward's diverse business community and experience something new.

Hayward Blvd. Art Walk
Discover local artists, makers, and musicians at the Hayward Blvd. Art Walk. Visitors can browse artwork from local creatives, enjoy live performances, participate in interactive art activities, and support neighborhood businesses while experiencing one of Hayward's most creative community gatherings.

Sept. 12

MetalFest
Turn up the volume at MetalFest, a free outdoor music festival celebrating Hayward's local music scene. Featuring live metal bands, food vendors, artisan booths, and community organizations, the event brings together music lovers for a full day of entertainment. In partnership with the Salvation Army of Hayward, attendees are encouraged to bring canned food donations to support local families, making this event both a celebration of music and an opportunity to give back.

Sept. 19

Puesto Market Grand Opening & Community Fiesta
Join Puesto Market as they celebrate their grand opening with a lively Community Fiesta showcasing the diversity and spirit of Hayward. The event will feature local vendors, live music, family-friendly activities, raffles, giveaways, and delicious food, including barbecue samples from Harris Ranch Beef Company. Guests will also be invited to celebrate the official ribbon cutting with the City of Hayward while exploring local businesses and enjoying an afternoon of community, culture, and entertainment.
