Exciting changes will soon be rolled out for Hayward water customers, including a redesigned utility bill and a brand new Water Customer Portal.

Portal features include:

  • Fee-free bill payment for credit card, online bank direct, and all other online payment methods
  • Fee-free autopay options for credit card, online bank direct, and other payment methods
  • Expanded payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and more
  • Mobile notifications and pay-by-text options
  • Paperless billing
  • Ability to set budgets based on desired bill amount or water consumption 
  • Ability to view hourly water use
  • Ability to receive leak notifications
  • Customized water conservation recommendations
  • And more!

The Portal link will be included on your new utility bill, which is also coming soon. Additionally, the link will be posted on this webpage, and distributed widely via mailers and the City's environmental newsletter, The Leaflet.
