Moments later, officers were advised the vehicle had crashed and the driver had fled the scene. A perimeter was set, a search was conducted, and the suspect was located and taken into custody. Garden Ave. An argument ensued and the suspect assaulted the victim with a deadly weapon before fleeing the scene. The victim received treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
