Welcome to the Citizenship Resource Center at the Hayward Public Library. Check out the programs and classes we provide to help you prepare for the U. S. naturalization process.

Citizenship Preparation Classes 

FREE 10-week virtual Citizenship Classes are designed to help adult immigrants at the beginning to intermediate ESL level to successfully complete the naturalization process. 
  • Practice the reading and writing parts of the citizenship test
  • Study the 100 USCIS Civics questions
  • Learn the languages used on Form N-400
  • Practice the naturalization interview

Citizenship Mock Interview Sessions

Appointment-based information sessions where patrons can attain services in these areas:
  • Get an overview of the citizenship eligibility requirements and the application process
  • Get assistance with filling out Form N-400
  • Learn how to create and navigate a USCIS online account 
  • Participate in FREE one-on-one interview practice sessions
