Clean-up and beautify the Longwood Neighborhood Saturday, Feb. 28

Join the Hayward Clean and Green Commission for the next Keep Hayward Clean and Green neighborhood clean-up event in the Longwood neighborhood on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The group will meet at Longwood Elementary School, 850 Longwood Ave., at 8 a.m. to pick up litter and report blight along Longwood Avenue and the surrounding neighborhood.
Participating in Keep Hayward Clean and Green events provides residents with an opportunity to connect with neighbors, get credit for community service hours, learn about wallet-friendly programs to support the environment and make a substantial difference in the community.
Follow this link to pre-register for free. Free same-day registration will be available at the clean-up starting at 8 a.m. Adult supervision is not provided by the City, and all volunteers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating adult.
