Significant Incidents

Stabbing: On 09/06/2020, at 3:37 AM, a stabbing occurred in the area of W. A St. and Hesperian Blvd. A man was walking when approached by two men who stabbed him nine times in the torso. The suspects fled and the man had non-life-threatening injuries. (Report #2020-053806)

Burglary/Arson: On 09/06/2020, at 11:51 AM, a man broke into a business in the 400 block of W. Tennyson Rd. While inside, the man began lighting items on fire and destroying the business. Negotiators were able to de-escalate the situation and the man exited safely on his own. The man was transported to have a psychiatric evaluation with pending charges.  (Report #2020-053856)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On 09/08/20, at 4:24 AM, officers locate a stolen vehicle in the 2200 block of Industrial Pkwy W. with two men inside. Both men were arrested for stolen vehicle and drug possession.  (Report #2020-054188)

Shooting: On 09/09/2020, at 2:05 AM, there was a call of a shooting in the 22000 block of Peralta St. One bullet casing was located but there were no reports of injury or damage. (Report #2020-054426)

Weapon: On 09/10/2020, at 5:45 PM, a car stop is made for traffic violations. A man in the car was on probation. During a search, officers locate two illegally possessed handguns and multiple people were arrested. (Report #2020-054766)

Robbery: On 09/11/2020, at 11:26 PM, a robbery occurred in the 2300 block of Darwin St. A man and woman were seated in a car when approached by four suspects, two had handguns. The suspects demanded cash, phones and shoes. The victims complied out of fear and the suspects fled. (Report #2020-055015)

Assault With A Deadly Weapon: On 09/12/2020, at 5:36 PM, two men were in a fight in the 28000 block of Mission Blvd. One man grabs a metal pipe and hits the other man in the head. The victim is transported to a local hospital and the suspect fled in a vehicle. (Report #2020-055161)
