Memorial Day closures of Hayward COVID-19 Hotline Call Center and Testing Center

HAYWARD, Calif., May 22, 2020—The City of Hayward COVID-19 Hotline Call Center and COVID-19 Testing Center will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

Both services will resume regular operating schedules on Tuesday—with the Hotline Call Center open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and the Testing Center open weekdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until the available number of tests for the day is exhausted.

The Hotline Call Center can be reached at (510) 583-4949 and provides information related to COVID-19, the City’s responses to the health emergency and the most recent applicable health orders issued by the Alameda County Health Officer.

The COVID-19 Testing Center is located at Lot A at Cal State University East Bay and its testing services are free and available to anyone on a first-come, first-served basis, regardless of place of residence or immigration status.

To be tested, individuals generally must have a fever over 100 degrees or other COVID-19 symptoms.  Health-care workers and first-responders can make advance appointments for testing by calling the City COVID-19 Hotline Call Center at (510) 583-4949.
