Significant Incidents

 

Shooting: On 02/20/2022, at 12:06 PM, officers responded to the report of a shooting near the 22000 block of Clawiter Rd. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of a shooting. There were no injuries reported for this incident. (Report #2022-010033)

Shooting: On 02/23/2022, at 2:05 AM, officers responded to the 3000 block of Depot Rd regarding a shooting that just occurred. The suspect was still on scene when officers arrived and was taken into custody. A firearm was recovered during the incident. One victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local medical facility. (Report #2022-010549)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On 02/25/2022, at 4:12 AM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the 1000 block of W. Winton Ave. The driver was taken into custody and the vehicle was recovered. (Report #2022-010990

Burglary: On 02/25/2022, at 6:27 AM, officers responded to the 400 block of Jackson St regarding a burglary that just occurred. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of a burglary. During an area check, officers located the suspect, who had fled in a vehicle. A vehicle stop was conducted, and the suspect fled the vehicle on foot. The suspect was taken into custody a short distance later without incident. (Report #2022-010993)
