ATTEMPT CARJACKING: On 6/7/2025 at 8:40 PM the victim was walking to his vehicle near the 800 Block of B St, when he noticed a subject following closely behind him. Once the victim approached his vehicle the subject threatened the victim with a weapon and demanded the victim's keys, threatening to harm him. The victim was able to safely enter his vehicle and shut his vehicle door. The subject attempted to reopen the victim's vehicles door but was unable to make entry. The victim fled the area and reported the incident to HPD. Officers returned to the area and located an individual that matched the description, who was later positively identified by the victim. The suspect was arrested by officers and booked at HPD jail. (Report #2025-032574)
FIREARM RECOVERY: On 6/7/2025 at 11:17 PM officers patrolling the area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle who had committed multiple vehicle code violations near the area of Jackson St and Diamond Ridge. While attempting to provide the officer with vehicle registration, a firearm fell out of the vehicles glove box. The subject was detained by officers and later arrested for weapon charges.
