CASE SYNOPSIS

SHOOTING: On 12/25/2023 at 3:18 AM, officers responded to the report of a shooting near the intersection of Yolo St and Santa Clara Ave. The victim is located at the scene with a gunshot wound. The victim received medical treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to officers' arrival. (Report #: 2023-072995) 

 

ROBBERY: On 12/26/2023 at 1:04 PM, the victim was inside her vehicle near the 900 block of Southland Dr when she was approached by two suspects. The suspects used force and took property from the victim and fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim obtained the suspect’s license plate as they fled, and an outside agency located the vehicle and detained the occupants. The victim positively identified the occupants, and they were placed under arrest. (Report #: 2023-073215) 

 

CARJACKING: On 12/27/2023 at 4:30 AM, the victim was asleep in his car near the 29000 block of Ruus Rd when he was approached by a group of subjects. The subjects brandished handguns, used force, and fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The victim received medical treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. (Report #: 2023-073332) 

 

RECOVERED HANDGUN: On 12/28/2023 at 1:56 PM, officers pulled a car over for a moving violation when two occupants fled on foot. Both were taken into custody a short distance later. One of the occupants was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. The second occupant had an outstanding felony warrant. The driver, who did not run from officers, was also found to have an outstanding warrant. All three were taken into custody (Report #: 2023-073602)
