CASE SYNOPSIS

Robbery: On 12/18/2022, at 10:00 PM, five subjects enter the victim business near the 300 block of W. Tennyson Rd. The suspects then used force to take property from the business before they fled the scene on foot.  (Report #2022-072158)

Recovered Firearm: On 12/19/2022, at 12:25 AM, officers conducted extra patrols near the area of Austin Ave and Huntwood Ave when they observed what appeared to be a man breaking into vehicles. The man was contacted, and a loaded firearm was located in his clothing. The man was taken into custody. (Report #2022-072182)

Recovered Firearm and Narcotics: On 12/19/2022, at 2:00 AM, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Jackson St and Watkins St for an equipment violation. A record check revealed the vehicle to be expired over six months and was subsequently towed. During an inventory search of the vehicle, a loaded firearm, suspected narcotics, and other narcotics sales contraband were located. The driver was taken into custody. (Report #2022-072191)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: On 12/22/2022, at 1:09 PM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the 24000 block of Groom St. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and took the driver into custody. (Report #2022-071829)
