The Hayward Building Division is pleased to announce that self-help kiosks providing quick access to building and property records are back in service outside the City of Hayward Permit Center.

The kiosks provide the ability to read and print electronic copies of certain public records on buildings and properties located within the jurisdiction of the City of Hayward.

Due to the large volume of in-person requests of Building Division personnel, it can take up to two weeks or longer for documents to be made available by a Division staff member.

Anyone needing additional information on plans, permitting histories, and anything else related to the use or status of a building or property is encouraged to visit the Permit Center counter on the first floor of City Hall at 777 B Street.

The Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, except holidays.
