Significant Incidents

Carjacking/Assault with a Deadly Weapon: On 08/09/2021, at 7:28 AM, the victim was standing outside of her running vehicle near the 1000 block of B St when the suspect approached her. The suspect got inside the victim’s vehicle and drove away, striking and injuring the victim with the car as he fled. (Report #2021-45259)

Robbery: On 08/09/2021, at 11:27 AM, the victim was approached by the suspect near the 27000 block of Industrial Blvd. The suspect used force and robbed the victim of his property before fleeing the scene. (Report #2021-45297)

Recovered Firearm: On 08/09/2021, at 8:21 PM, officers conducted an enforcement stop near the 24000 Block of Grand Ave. A record check revealed the driver to have outstanding felony warrants. A search of the vehicle revealed a handgun inside the car.  (Report #2021-45407)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle:  On 08/11/2021 at 2:54 PM, officers observed an occupied vehicle that was parked near the 24000 block of Grand Ave. A record check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed it to be stolen. The occupant was taken into custody. (Report #2021-45812)

Robbery: On 08/12/2021, at 3:37 AM, the suspect went into a business near the 24000 block of Santa Clara St and brandished a handgun. The suspect took property from the business and fled the scene. (Report #2021-45949)
