Don't have access to the internet or a computing device? Your Hayward Public Library card provides you with access to our Tech Lending Library at the Downtown Hayward Library.
3D printers, laser cutters, sewing machines, and more are also available at our Makerspace.

Available at the Downtown Library and Weekes Branch
- Downtown: 20 adult computers, 8 children's computers

Using the Computers
- No reservations needed
- Log on using your library card and PIN (last four numbers of your phone number)
- Time limit: 90 minutes
- Computers turn off automatically five minutes before the library closes
- Please bring your own headphones
Printing and Photocopying
- Printing and photocopying are available for a small charge
- Letter and legal size printing available
- Black and White: 15 cents/side
- Color: 30 cents/side
- Methods of payment: Cash (singles and coins), Credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay
Scanning
- Scanners are available and can scan to USB, email, Google Drive, Dropbox, and more.
- Scanning is free.
- We do not offer faxing services. The nearest faxing services are at the UPS store or Copy Pacific.
Wireless Printing
- Step One: Send your documents in one of three ways:
- Upload documents to our Wireless Printing Service and enter your name or library card number.
- Download the app ePRINTit SaaS, select the files from your device, and enter your name.
- Email your documents to bw-hayward@eprintitsaas.com (black and white) or color-hayward@eprintitsaas.com (color). You will receive a reply email with a code.
- Step Two: Print your documents:
Come to the Downtown Library or Weekes Branch and enter your name, library card number, or emailed code. Printing charges are as listed above.
