California DMV Practice Tests Whether you’re cruising the streets of Los Angeles or Highway 1 outside Big Sur, the best way to get on the road is by taking our California DMV practice tests. 

Teen Volunteer Saturdays at the Downtown Library, 12:30-4:30 on various Saturdays each month. Email Cheryl Penick at cheryl.penick@hayward-ca.gov for dates. Receive up to four hours of volunteer credit. Come in for the whole time or any portion you can. Examples of possible jobs include craft preparation and cleaning books & toys.  Bring a completed, parent-signed Student Volunteer application to the library if you have not already submitted one since September 2019. Questions?  Email Cheryl

Saturday volunteering is also available at Weekes Library by sign-up only. Students must sign up at the Reference Desk in advance and in person for a one-hour slot.
