4Cs of Alameda County will provide enrollment in parent workshops, toddler playgroups and family navigation to HPN community. Families can receive childcare referrals and information on payment assistance. Visit 4Cs on the 1 and 3 Mondays from 11am-2pm.
Chabot College staff provides information and support around applying and enrolling for non-credit ESL courses, Adult Career Technical Education (CTE), and Adult Dual Enrollment programs. Staff can also assist with financial aid applications (FAFSA, CADAA, and Cal Kids) and provide information around the Chabot Promise program. Visit Chabot on 1st and 3rd Mondays from 1st and 3rd Mondays from 2pm – 5pm.
Hayward Evaluation and Response Teams (HEART), Case Management and Mental Health Linkages (LINK) team provides information and referral, systems navigation, and short-term mental health services to promote safety and wellbeing (housing, physical and mental health and access to general social services). LINK also provides connections to the Youth and Family Services Bureau (YFSB) family counseling, crisis intervention, and service coordination programs for youth and families. Horizon Treatment Services is a youth-focused service. Staff will share resources on substance use prevention, mental health support, and programs for LGBTQIA+ youth, as well as provide information about upcoming events. Visit Horizon Treatment Services on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 2pm – 5pm
La Familia offers information and referrals to HPN community clinicians, Cal Fresh, and Medi-Cal. They can connect you to prevention and early intervention services. They also offer youth workforce program for teens and young adults. Visit La Familia on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 11 am-2 pm.
Alameda County Public Health Department (ACPHD) provides information about available programs and assistance with referral and enrollment to receive services.Nurses can provide blood pressure checks. Visit ACPHD on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 11 am-2 pm.
Fresh Foods for Families connects Hayward residents who have limited access to adequate amounts of nutritious food. Fresh Food for Families staff will help patrons enroll in the program. There is no food distribution on site. Visit Fresh Foods for Families on 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 11 am-2 pm.
Alameda County Deputy Sheriff’s Activities League (DSAL) shares information and enrollment assistance in recreational activities,after-school programs, camps, and more.Visit DSAL on 1st Fridays from 11 am-2 pm.
Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center (TVHC) provides information and outreach for all of the programs we offer on behalf of the clinic. Visit TVHC on 1st and 3rd Fridays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Hayward Unified School District (HUSD) provides information and services for HUSD students and families. Visit HUSD on 2nd and 4th Mondays from 11 am-2 pm.
City of Hayward, Human Resources (COH HR) provides public sector interview prep and info about jobs and the hiring process. Visit COH HR on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 11 am-2 pm.
Hayward Operated Paratransit (HOP) will help seniors and people with disabilities to enroll in paratransit services. Visit HOP on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Eden Youth’s is a youth-powered organization. Our promotoras will host "grupo de apoyo" and share health and wellness resources in Hayward. Our Substance Use Prevention team will provide awareness activities and educational programming. Visit Eden Youth on 1 and 3 Wednesdays from 2pm-5pm.
Eden Youth’s Youth Advisory Council advocate for substance use prevention and policies that support safety and health. They provide smoke-free housing workshops to owners, managers, and residents. Visit Eden Youth on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD) provides information about scholarships and additional HARD programs and events. Visit HARD on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Hayward Promise Neighborhoods (HPN) promote free community events/programs, an entrepreneurship program, and connections to Cal State East Bay and partner services. Visit HPN on 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Hayward Adult School (HAS) provides information about class sessions and offer support to those interested in enrolling at the adult school. Visit HAS on 3rd Fridays from 11 am-2 pm.
Immigrant Hope offers Immigration Law services, including family-based immigration, naturalization, work authorization, DACA, and renewals. Visit Immigrant Hope on 2nd and 4th Fridays from 11 am-2 pm.
