You can help Hayward students succeed in school. Volunteer in our Homework Support Centers. We have twelve locations throughout Hayward, including both libraries and ten Hayward schools.

The program offers individual and small group tutoring provided by skilled volunteers. Each homework center is equipped with laptop computers, printing, and internet access, as well as traditional homework supplies, resources, and learning aids.

In addition to providing much-needed support to students in need, as a volunteer you'll develop your own communication, writing and interpersonal skills. Volunteering is a mutually rewarding experience in which all participants learn together, develop community, and create a positive school climate.
