Since 1985, Literacy Plus has helped over 4,500 adult learners improve their reading, writing and conversational skills. As a result, they became citizens, earned driver’s licenses, obtained their GED degrees, and voted for the first time. Their increased skills resulted in higher self-esteem, better jobs, and the ability to read to their children and help them with homework.
