Hayward E-PERMITS to be down for system updates morning of May 9
The City of Hayward’s online permitting system called E-PERMITS will be out of service for planned system upgrades on May 9 from 8 - 11 a.m.
During this period, applicants and staff will be unable to access online applications. Also, payments will not be able to be made online, though physical checks could be dropped off at the Permit Center on the first floor of City Hall, 777 B Street, during business hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday or mailed to the appropriate contacts.
To schedule urgent life safety inspections during the out-of-service periods, please contact Dennis Zafiratos at dennis.zafiratos@hayward-ca.gov or (510) 583-4150.
To request a minor encroachment permit inspection during these periods, please contact Ali Tavana at ali.tavana@hayward-ca.gov or (510) 583-4796.
For Fire permit related inquiries during these outages, please contact Fire Prevention at (510) 583-4900.
The new E-PERMITS online permitting system offers a convenient way to submit permit applications for development projects, add contractors, pay fees, download permits, schedule inspections, check an inspector’s estimated time of arrival, see inspection results and much more.
