Suspicious Circumstance – 26000 block of Gading Rd
HAYWARD, Calif., On August 10, 2025, at approximately 7:00 PM, officers responded to a 71-year-old woman reporting that her 38-year-old son had shot her, her 70-year-old husband, and himself inside their residence near the 26000 block of Gading Road.
Officers arrived on scene and found the adult parents suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were given medical attention and transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
The 38-year-old male, later identified as the couple’s adult son who lived at the residence, was also found unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital but was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
This appears to be an isolated incident. No suspects are currently being sought, and there is no threat to public safety.
