Weather Advisory: Rain in the forecast
With rain in the forecast, sandbags are available for residents for pick up outside the City’s Corporation Yard at 24505 Soto Road.
Residents will be allowed up to 10 bags per household. Additionally, a self-fill sandbag station is set up outside the Hayward Animal Shelter at 16 Barnes Court should residents need additional bags.
Residents are encouraged to report flooding issues during normal business hours to the Streets Division at (510) 881-7745. After hours reports should be directed to the Hayward Police Department non-emergency line at (510) 293-7000.
