Public Notice - County Housing Bond - City Council Work Session

The County of Alameda is exploring a potential $500 million housing bond to: acquire and construct affordable housing units throughout Alameda County; support home ownership programs for low-income residents; provide housing rehabilitation for low-income seniors and people with disabilities; and help meet other housing-related needs in Alameda County and Hayward. Hayward City Council on Tuesday,May 17, 2016,will review the draft bond proposal in a public work session commencing at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and all interested community members are encouraged to attend.
