Homicide Investigation – 25000 block of Industrial Boulevard
HAYWARD, Calif., On December 7, 2024, at about 11:45 p.m., officers received reports of a shooting to the rear of an industrial complex near the 25000 block of Industrial Boulevard.
Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers and medical personnel provided medical treatment at the scene and the victim was transported to a hospital for further treatment. The victim later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital and was pronounced deceased.
The victim’s identity is known but is being withheld at this time, pending notifications to next of kin and formal identification protocols through the Alameda County Coroner’s Office.
There is no one in custody at this time.

The Hayward Police Department case number is 2024-69841. This is Hayward’s 14th homicide of 2024.
