Back to the Russell City Reparative Justice Project Steering Committee ⇒

I grew up in Russell City with my parents, Climmie and Octavia Tolefree, 5 brothers and 1 sister, attended Russell Elementary School and after graduation from Hayward High, attended college.  I worked in Research at Lawrence Radiation Laboratory, Livermore; Kaiser’s Legal Department in Oakland and Center for Technology in Pleasanton.  The last 25-30 years of my career was in legal: court reporting, litigation, personal injury, probate, family law, intellectual property and as an Executive Assistant to General Counsel for a large international law firm in San Francisco. As a member of the Russell City Steering Committee, my role will be an advocate.   I will be advocating for reparations in the form of pain and suffering compensation for displaced residents and landowners affected by the eminent domain property seizures.
