Project Overview

Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) is proposing to construct a 16-mile trail facility that would consist of multi-use pathways and protected bikeways and would run along the BART alignment connecting Oakland, San Leandro, Ashland, Cherryland, and Hayward.

Alameda CTC has published an Initial Study and Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The IS/MND can be viewed or requested on the project website or at the Alameda CTC office.
