Hearts of Hayward Awards seeking nominations!
HAYWARD - Do you have a volunteer in your life who you would like to recognize for their hardwork? The Annual Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner is a remarkable opportunity to thank the most dedicated community members in Hayward. Organizations throughout Hayward are invited to participate in the 2016 event and to select a volunteer to be recognized as part of the "Hearts of Hayward" awards.
Once the award winners are chosen, the volunteer's contributions to the to their organization will be highlighted in an event program and ceremony. All award winners are invited to attend the event as complimentary guests of the Volunteer Dinner Committee.
In addition to selecting a volunteer from your own agency, we respectfully request nominations for the John N. Pappas Humanitarian award. The Pappas Humanitarian Award is presented every year to a community volunteer who exemplifies John's spirit and ownership.

Please fill out the nomination form below and return it no later than May 15, 2016. After your nomination has been received, you and your agency will be contacted by a member of the Volunteer Dinner Committee wo will provide further information about the event.
Save the date to join us, as we honor the amazing volunteers from Hayward at the 39th Annual Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner on October 4, 2016, at St. Rose Hospital's Grand White Tent.
