Marian Johnson is currently an Executive Administrative Legal Assistant.  She began her legal career by joining a Top 10 rated AMLAW – International Law firm in November 2000.  After several years, she became an Executive Administrative assistant to several principal partners within the firm.  Marian has garnered more than 20 years' experience managing the practices for each of her firm partners and is currently the assistant to one of her firm's lead partners for the firm's North America Corporate & Securities Steering committee.

Prior to joining her first law firm, she worked 18 years in Alameda County at Alameda County Social Services in the Adult Services Agency, a community based service, as a Service Support Specialist.  In this role she managed more than 300 clients helping to ensure Alameda County residents received the services necessary for their continued health and safety in their own homes.  While working at Alameda County, she also performed administrative project work which included researching, fact gathering, analyzing, drafting, producing and submitting summaries for department meetings.

Marian is a mother of two, a daughter, grandmother, sister and an aunt in a wonderful nuclear and extended family. She has lived in the bay area most of her life and has thrived as she enjoyed being a part of her community in Oakland California. Her passion is crafting, gardening and biking. She is a ardent advocate for her family and community.  She holds at high value her actions to do and give her very best in each day while maintaining a healthy work, community, family and personal life balance.
