CASE SYNOPSIS

ROBBERY: On 08/13/2023 at 3:59 AM, the victim was approached by the suspect near the 27000 block of Manon Ave. The suspect used force and took property from the victim before he fled the scene in a vehicle (Report #: 2023-045309) 

 

ROBBERY: On 08/15/2023 at 10:44 AM, officers responded to the report of a robbery that just occurred near the 25000 block of Cypress Ave. The suspect was located a short distance away, was positively identified by the victim, and was taken into custody. The victim’s property was located in the suspect’s possession and was returned to the victim. (Report #: 2023-045783) 

 

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 08/16/2023 at 4:39 AM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the intersection of W. Tennyson Rd and Mission Blvd. A vehicle stop was conducted, and the driver was taken into custody. (Report #: 2023-045001) 

 

RECOVERED FIREARM: On 08/21/2023 at 6:10 PM, officers conducted a vehicle stop for a moving violation near the intersection of C St and Souza Ct. A record check of the driver revealed him to be unlicensed. The driver and occupants were detained and a pat search for weapons yielded a concealed loaded handgun on one of the passengers. The passenger was arrested for the firearm possession. (Report #: 2023-047215) 

 

ROBBERY: On 08/26/2023 at 6:08 PM, two subjects walked into the victim business near the 3000 block of Breakwater Ave. The subjects brandished handguns and demanded money from the clerk. Out of fear, the clerk complied, and the subjects fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #: 2023-048338)
