CASE SYNOPSIS

ROBBERY: On 03/31/2024 at 12:10 AM, the suspect entered the victim business near the 400 block of Harder Rd. The suspect brandished a handgun and took money from the business, along with some of the clerk’s personal property. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #: 2024-017687)  

ROBBERY: On 03/31/2024 at 9:30 PM, two suspects entered the victim business near the 300 block of Winton Ave. Both subjects pointed handguns at the employees and took money from the business. The subjects then fled the scene on foot. (Report #: 2024-017790) 

RECOVERED HANDGUN On 04/01/2024 at 10:48 PM, officers conducted a vehicle stop for a vehicle code violation near the intersection of Royal Ave and W. A St. A record check of the driver revealed him to be unlicensed and to have two outstanding warrants. An inventory of the vehicle prior to it being towed revealed a stolen handgun on the passenger floorboard where the passenger was sitting. Both occupants were arrested. (Report #: 2024-018010) 

RECOVERED HANDGUN On 04/04/2024 at 11:52 PM, officers conducted a vehicle stop for a vehicle code violation near the 30000 block of Industrial Pkwy SW. A record check of the driver revealed him to be on probation for driving while under the influence of alcohol and was driving without a required interlock device in the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest for the violation and a search of his vehicle revealed suspected narcotics and a handgun. (Report #: 2024-018552) 

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 04/05/2024 at 3:07 PM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near the 26000 block of Huntwood Ave. A vehicle stop was conducted, and the driver attempted to flee the scene on foot. The driver fell a short distance away and was taken into custody. (Report #: 2024-018640)
