The Sewing Station includes a Singer Heavy Duty 4452 Sewing Machine and a Singer S0230 Serger.

Requirements
We provide
- Safety training
- All purpose black and white thread
- Standard needles of varying gauges
- Sewing notions, such as scissors, tape measures, seam rippers, pins, and fabric marking supplies
- Iron and ironing board
You must bring
- Your project and materials, including any specialty thread and needles
Required Forms and Tutorials
Before you use the Sewing Station for the first time, you must complete:
- A Makerspace Registration Packet
- The online Makerspace Safety Orientation
- The Sewing Station Safety Training
Project Creation
Free patterns can be downloaded from various providers such as Mood or blogs such as So Sew Easy. You can create your own patterns with free pattern drafting software such as Seamly or Valentina.
