Please Note: We are are only accepting applications for Session 2, July 18 - August 3, for students enter grades 6 -8. All other sessions are full. 

Kick off summer with the Hayward Police Department's Youth and Family Services Bureau-supported recreational activities for Hayward students entering grades 2 through 8!

This free program features grade appropriate activities that focus on health and wellness, social and emotional learning and community building during two summer sessions.

Pre-register for Summer 2023:

Pre-register for 2023 is now available!

  • Session 1: June 13 - 29 FULL
  • Session 2: July 18 - August 3

During each session, students will meet for 90 minutes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at Birchfield Park, located at the corner of Santa Clara Ave. and Elmhurst St.

  • Students entering grades 2 - 5 will meet from 9 - 10:30 a.m. FULL
  • Students entering grades 6 - 8 will meet from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Reserve your student's spot today by filling out the application, available in English and Spanish. To switch the language, click the tab in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
