4Cs of Alameda County will provide enrollment in parent workshops, toddler playgroups and family navigation to HPN community. Families can receive childcare referrals and information on payment assistance. Visit 4Cs on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 11am – 2pm.
Alameda County Deputy Sheriff’s Activities League (DSAL) provides information and enrollment assistance in free, after-school, recreational sports and summer fitness camps for kids; evening dance, boxing, and fitness programs for adults; and free, drop-in recreational soccer for families on Saturdays. Visit DSAL on 1st Fridays from 11am – 2pm.
Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) provides health care and services to help older adults live safely and independently in the community. We coordinate medical, social, and in-home services under one plan, tailored to each participant’s needs. Visit CEI on 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 11am – 2pm.
Eden Youth is a youth-powered organization. Promotoras will host "grupo de apoyo" and share health and wellness resources in Hayward. The Substance Use Prevention team will provide awareness activities and educational programming. Visit Eden Youth on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 2pm – 5pm.
Education Services provides information and registration support in Hayward Library programs, such as ESL grammar classes, Citizenship workshops, Digital Literacy Classes, K-12 Homework centers, and more. Visit Ed Services on 2nd and 4th Fridays from 2pm – 5pm.
Hayward Adult School (HAS) provides information about class sessions and offers support to those interested in enrolling at the adult school. Visit HAS on 3rd Fridays from 11am – 2pm.
Hayward Evaluation and Response Teams (HEART), Case Management and Mental Health Linkages (LINK) provides homeless outreach, information and resources, follow-up support, and assistance with navigating services. We can also connect to family counseling, crisis intervention, and more through the Youth and Family Services Bureau (YFSB). Visit HEART on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 11am – 2pm.
Hayward Operated Paratransit (HOP) will help seniors and people with disabilities to enroll in paratransit services. Visit HOP on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 2pm – 5pm.
Horizon Treatment Services is a youth-focused service. Staff will share resources on substance use prevention, mental health support, and programs for LGBTQIA+ youth, as well as provide information about upcoming events. Visit Horizon Treatment Services on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 2pm – 5pm.
Eden Youth’s Youth Advisory Council advocate for substance use prevention and policies that support safety and health. They provide smoke-free housing workshops to owners, managers, and residents. Visit Eden Youth on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Hayward Promise Neighborhoods (HPN) promote free community events/programs, an entrepreneurship program, and connections to Cal State East Bay and partner services. Visit HPN on 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 2 pm-5 pm.
Immigrant Hope offers Immigration Law services, including family-based immigration, naturalization, work authorization, DACA, and renewals. Visit Immigrant Hope on 2nd and 4th Fridays from 11 am-2 pm.
