The Lawyers in the Library program is a free information and referral program hosted by the Hayward Public Library and staffed by a volunteer lawyer. In a one-on-one appointment, the lawyer can answer questions on most legal topics. If additional help is required, participants are referred to other agencies. This program is co-sponsored by Alameda County Bar Association, Legal Access Alameda.
