"Made in Hayward" Student Library Card Drive

Clio Hathaway | March 12, 2016

The City of Hayward Public Library has partnered with Hayward Unified School District to give every Hayward student a special Hayward Public Library card designed exclusively for “Made in Hayward” students.

All students from Kindergarten to 12th grade in a Hayward school—public  charter or private—are eligible to receive this specially designed library card. The card offers the same library privileges as any other library card, but the card features an exclusive design for Hayward students.

The goal of this city-wide library card drive is to register or update every Hayward student’s public library card in time for the library’s annual Summer Reading Challenge. For more information, please contact Lindsey Vien, Education Services Manager.
