Council Airport Committee

Council's Airport Committee (CAC) is comprised of three members of the Hayward City Council. Prior to City Council action, the Committee reviews and considers policy recommendations related to: airport rates and charges for hangar rental, storage rental and operating permits; land use changes on Airport property; and other matters that affect airport users or the community at large.

The Council Airport Committee (CAC) is comprised of three members of the Hayward City Council. Prior to City Council action, the Committee reviews and considers policy recommendations related to items such as:

  • Airport rates and charges for hangar rental, storage rental and operating permits
  • Land use changes on Airport property
  • Other matters that affect airport users or the community at large

To determine matters under current consideration, Committee staff reports and agendas may be requested from Airport Administration.

The Committee meets on a quarterly basis on the 4th Thursday of the month and special meetings may also be scheduled. Meetings are generally held at 5:30 p.m. at Hayward Executive Airport, Administration Building, Meeting Room, 20301 Skywest Drive, Hayward.
