All Hayward active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail for the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election. The Alameda County Registrar of Voters started mailing ballots on February 5, 2024. Hayward Vote Centers will open early as follows:

The last day to register to vote for the March 5, 2024, Presidential Primary Election is February 20, 2024. Mailed vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by March 12, 2024.
