Airport Planning
The Hayward Executive Airport's Master Plan was updated in November 1994.
Airport planning exists on many levels; local, regional, state, and national. Each level has a different emphasis and purpose.
This master plan is the primary local airport planning document.
Regionally, the airport is included in the Metropolitan Transportation Commission’s (MTC) Regional Airport System Plan (RASP) for the San Francisco Bay area .
Hayward Executive Airport is one of 51 airports in the MTC RASP and considered important to meeting the region’s demand for aviation services. See below for more information.
