ABOUT THE DAILY REVIEW
The Daily Review is the daily newspaper published in Hayward, California since the late 19th century. In its modern history since World War II, the newspaper was owned by Floyd L. Sparks from 1944 to 1985. Spark also owned the The Argus of Fremont and the Tri-Valley Herald of the Livermore area.
The Daily Review is currently owned by the Bay Area News Group corporation, a subsidiary of MediaNews Group which bought the paper in 1985.
