Reading and Writing Day

• Start writing your stories--you will turn your stories into a puppet show and a comic book.

For the Puppet Show

• Watch the videos on how to make a paper bag and stick puppets.  Have your materials from the craft kits ready to make some puppets!
• Watch the video on tips for making background scenery for your puppet show.
• Perform your puppet show!

For the Comic Book

• Watch the video on how to turn one of your stories into your own comic book.  Follow along with you Comic and Story Board Tips handout.
• Start laying out your comic using the Story Baord pages--a rough draft of your comic book.
• Create your own comic book using the panel pages and word bubbles included in your kit!

Math and Science Day

• Start by watching the Math and Science Day presentation to learn about planes, robots and the science of wind.

Wind

• Watch the video on how to create your own pinwheel.
• Design and assemble your pinwheel using the materials in your craft kit.

Planes

• Watch the video on how to make a paper airplane.
• Use the paper included in your craft kits to fold and fly your own planes!

Robots

• Watch the video on how to create your own robot.  Follow along with your robot design worksheet.
• Take the mini robotics quiz to see what you know!
• Create your own robot design using the worksheet and the materials provided in the craft kit.
