Arrest of suspect for murder of Stacey Aguilar

Esmid Valentine Pedraza, a 23 year old resident of unincorporated Hayward, was arrested today on a Homicide Warrant (187 PC) by Hayward Police Department Detectives for the murder of Stacey Aguilar.
Aguilar’s murder investigation is still on-going, so further information about Pedraza’s arrest will not be released until the investigation is formally reviewed by the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
