Doug McNeeley was named Hayward Executive Airport Manager in March 2011. He oversees daily operations at the airport and is responsible for administration, facility maintenance and other services.
McNeeley has twenty-eight years of airport management experience in addition to other positions in the aviation industry. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, he’s a licensed multi-engine pilot, and he’s a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives.
McNeeley received the national 1998 Max Karant Journalism Award from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association for producing a weekly radio program about the fun of flying. He’s a founding member and past president of the Maryland Airport Manager’s Association, he has been recognized for professional achievements by the Federal Aviation Administration and other organizations, and he’s a graduate of the Leadership Hayward program.
