The City of Hayward will be modifying the existing traffic signal at A Street adjacent to the Lucky's supermarket. A project consisting of 60 senior housing units and 5,887 square feet of retail space will be built near the intersection. The existing signal will be modified and upgraded to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety in the area and to provide direct access to the new project.
