A permit is required to install, replace or relocate a water heater. A permit must be obtained before beginning the work. Work performed without proper permits is subject to additional fees. Water Heater Permits are same day residential permits.

Replacing or adding new windows, sliding glass doors or skylights requires a building permit. Broken window glass can be repaired in any of these without a permit if the existing sash and frame stay in place. Window/Door Retro/Replace Permits are same day Residental Permits.
