The Airport’s role as a major Bay Area Reliever Airport, provides vital access to air commerce, acting as a portal to both domestic and international markets.
The Hayward Executive Airport is a general aviation facility utilized by a multitude of diverse aircraft ranging from corporate jets to flying for enjoyment in small privately-owned aircraft. It is considered by many to be the Bay Area’s premier executive general aviation airport. The Airport's history goes back to 1942.
The airport provides a wide variety of aviation services to aircraft operators including fuel, flight training, aircraft rental, avionics sales, maintenance, aircraft hangar rental, tie-down rental and leasing opportunities for aviation and non-aviation businesses.
Airport staff is responsible for maintenance and operations, airport planning and projects, noise abatement procedures and operations, rental and leasing of airport properties. Airport staff functions to provide customer service and support to our valued tenants and business partners.
