Welcome to Library & Community Services for the City of Hayward
Hello! My name is Sean Reinhart and I am the Director of Library and Community Services for the city of Hayward, California – a great place to live, work, learn, and play, conveniently located in the heart of the sunny and diverse East Bay Area. My department is responsible for public library services, community grant programs including CDBG and Social Services Program grants, housing rehabilitation programs, and Paratransit services. The mission of the Library and Community Services department is to preserve and enhance the quality of life for the Hayward community through neighborhood-oriented services, community-based problem-solving, and information and resources that are relevant, accessible, and responsive to the community. In every service we provide, our goal is to transform lives and contribute to the health and success of our community.

NONPROFIT EXECUTIVE SEMINAR
The Nonprofit Executive Seminar is a 6-month series of workshops, one session per month beginning in January 2012, designed for organizations that serve Hayward residents. Participants will learn advanced nonprofit resource development, fundraising and financial management techniques. With the support of grant funding, scholarships are available to underwrite the cost of participation.
